From 21st to 25th February, in Lima, Peru, ADICE and Movimiento por la Paz – MPDL continued capacity building trainings for host organisations with our Peruvian (Mano a Mano), Ecuadorian (Municipio de Riobamba), Uruguayan (El Abrojo) and Colombian (FMPDL) partners in the framework of the STEP project<\/p>\n

After having carried out a needs assessment and a safety plan during the first trainings last October, mission statements emerged from the host organisation’s work. During this week the aim was to implement common logistics in the management of youth volunteering through training on the volunteer management cycle, with a particular focus on mentoring. We were able to develop quality tools for a better management of volunteering and mentoring through the guide and video on mentoring, the creation of info pack by organisation and the preparation of testimonial videos.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
