International Civic Service
ADICE has a license under the Civic Service Commitment.
Civic service is a voluntary commitment in the service of the general interest at the international level. The activities take place within associations, administrations or communities in one of the nine areas recognized as priorities for the Nation: solidarity, education for all, environment, culture and recreation, sport, international development and humanitarian action, intervention crisis, health, memory and citizenship.
The objectives are:
- To develop intercultural competences, capacities of interaction with other cultures, that of the host country but also those of the other volunteers;
- Develop social skills, such as autonomy, confidence building, openness to others, ability to manage a budget autonomously, to evolve in a different social context;
- Develop professional skills that can be mobilized upon return.
