Logbook: Facilitating and supporting the mentor/mentee relationship

This logbook was designed as part of the Erasmus+ MENTOR project to provide Mentors+ and Mentees with a structured, scalable and customisable tool to:

• Facilitate the mentoring relationship
• Monitor the progress of the pair
• Identify areas for improvement
• Promote the value of the experience

Available online at mentor.adice.asso.fr or as PDF files, this tool can be adapted to any mentoring context, particularly in the context of international mobility.

1. Introduction of the pair (preferences, hobbies, background)
2. Mobility project (context, objectives, concerns)
3. Host country (personal view & cultural reality)
4. Practical information (useful resources for preparing for departure)
5. Definition of the relationship framework (expectations, objectives, methods)
6. Planning exchanges (calendar, communication tools)
7. Follow-up meetings (report sheets, mood, actions)
8. Difficulty management (listening, problem solving)
9. Future plans (objectives after the mobility programme, continuity)
10. Evaluations (mid-term and final, to be completed individually)
