Youth Forum on Digital Literacy and Inclusion

Study visit of the Lituanian Parliament

Participants were given a guided tour of the Lithuanian Parliament by Tomas Vytautas Raskevičius, a former member of parliament. They had the opportunity to understand the Lithuanian  parliamentary system, and discuss the differences that may exist between their countries.

Discussions during the visit revolved around the democratic and civic participation of young people. Participants were able to highlight the ways in which young people participate in their country. They also exchanged on the tools and strategies that have been or should be put in place to involve young people in a more concrete and permanent way.

The youth formum : interactive sessions

The Youth Forum provided a unique opportunity for attendees to not only share their experiences but also co-create solutions to the challenges they face.

Participants were able to take part in interactive sessions designed to maximize engagement and participation.

• Opening Panel: Keynote speakers highlighted the importance of digital literacy and inclusion.
• Workshops: Participants engaged in group discussions on barriers to digital and political participation.
• Case Studies: Real-life examples of successful youth engagement were presented.
• Closing session: Actionable recommendations were consolidated and presented by participants.

The Youth Forum explored the challenges and opportunities facing young people in an ever-changing world, particularly in terms of digital technology.
