JobShadowEur – The guides to facilitate jobshadwing are being tested by professionals !
The 8 partners in the JBSE project have been working hard since July 2021 to create innovative jobshadowing opportunities in Europe for VET professionals and to meet the challenges of the "new normal".
Result 1 concerns Pedagogical Models a Guide for Innovative Job Shadowing including remote, blended & in-person opportunities (R1).
Secondly, the production of 4 Self-contained, Variable-access Interactive Learning Modules, each with adapted pedagogical methodology to maximise the benefits of job shadowing & facilitate digital upskilling of VET educators.
The 1st module will be ‘preparing for job shadowing (R2). The 2nd interactive module will be ‘maximising the benefits during the job shadowing period’ (R3). The 3rd interactive module will be a ‘post job shadowing valorisation programme’, making the most of the opportunities provided by Job Shadowing (R4). The 4th interactive module will be a ‘guide for hosting vet educators for virtual/blended/in-person transnational job shadowing’ (R5).
Partners has just finished Pre-Testing of the JBSE Outputs. 2 Focus Groups took place in each of the 4 partner countries, followed by internal evaluation & extensive fine-tuning in light of the feedback received.
The Experimentation Phase is about to start where external organisations & real-life Adult Learners will test the outputs in live-learning situations.
The 5 results were then translated from English into French, German, Italian and Swedish.
The Test Phase has just started where partners will manage 2 pilot studies in each of the countries taking part in the project. at least 16 external organisation s & 32 VET staff have volunteered to test the JBSE materials & resources over the next 6 months. Evaluation workshops will be held in each country towards the end of the Test Phase in December 2023 & January 2024.
