Study : Empowering Support Persons in Social Sphere

Caring CompassPersonne soutienStudy

Support persons play an essential role in assisting vulnerable groups in Europe: migrants, refugees, people with disabilities, and individuals facing social or economic barriers. The Caring Compass project aims to better understand their needs, recognise their role, and provide them with practical tools to strengthen their autonomy and effectiveness in the field.

The two resources are based on an analysis of the needs, practices and expectations expressed by 117 support workers from five countries (Estonia, France, Italy, Latvia and Sweden). They will feed into the next stages of the project: the co-construction of training modules, educational resources and practical tools to support these community professionals.
